KuzminAAC Terms of Use

Welcome to KuzminAAC, a digital communication support tool designed to assist children and individuals with communication needs. By accessing or using KuzminAAC (the “App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

KuzminAAC is intended for use by adults (18+) who are speech-language pathologists, educators, caregivers, or legal guardians. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use KuzminAAC only for lawful and intended purposes, including:

• Supporting augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
• Educational or therapeutic interventions

You must not:

• Misuse the app for abusive, unlawful, or exploitative purposes
• Copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute the software or content without permission
• Use the app in place of professional medical, speech-language, or psychological evaluation

3. Intellectual Property

All content, illustrations, code, and interfaces in the App are the intellectual property of the developers or their licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without explicit written permission.

4. User Content

If you upload or configure content (e.g., boards or custom icons), you are responsible for ensuring that:

• You have the rights to use such content
• It does not violate the rights of others

We do not monitor user-created boards but reserve the right to remove or disable any content if required by law.

5. No Medical Advice

KuzminAAC is not a medical device. It does not provide medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic services. You agree that the app is used under the guidance of a qualified professional or responsible caregiver.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KuzminAAC and its developers shall not be liable for:

• Any harm, loss, or damage resulting from your use of the App
• Errors, omissions, or delays in content
• Misuse of the App by unauthorized users

Use is at your own risk.

7. Modifications and Termination

We may update or discontinue the App at any time without notice. Continued use after changes to the Terms implies acceptance.

8. Beta Software

This application is in beta development. Features may change, and the app may contain bugs or incomplete functionality.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with those laws.
